DJ Yung Visual is an up-and-coming DJ with humble beginnings rooted in the Midwest. Born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri, and with parents in the military, he has had the opportunity to travel a lot. DJ Yung Visual spent time in the Midwest and on the West Coast. When he wasn’t absorbing the sounds and influences of the blues and ragtime that the Midwest offered, he was being captivated by West Coast hip-hop and R&B. His musical influences range from old-school legends to new artists rising on the scene, such as Marvin Gaye, Smokey Robinson, Tupac, Nipsey Hussle, and Kendrick Lamar, to name just a few.
DJ Yung Visual has blessed many with his one-of-a-kind mashups, smooth mixing, and love for music as he performs for various venues and music scenes. With a growing following on all social media platforms, he showcases his love for many genres. He uses his passion for music and his DJ skills to pay tribute to those who have influenced his career thus far. DJ Craze is one of many who helped light the fire, inspiring DJ Yung Visual to pursue his dream of becoming a DJ. With the greats in mind, DJ Yung Visual has the privilege of being mentored by his uncle, DJ 1740, who has shown him the ins and outs of succeeding with different crowds and wholeheartedly enjoying what he does. DJ 1740 has shown him the bright lights and good times, as well as the logistics of the business. In this industry, where a person is always growing and learning, DJ Yung Visual has also had the pleasure of rubbing elbows with some amazing DJs in San Antonio.
Having gone from the Midwest to the West Coast, DJ Yung Visual is now building a solid foundation in Texas. He has had the privilege of spinning at nightclubs in Downtown San Antonio, being apart of major tours with Ja Rule, Ashanti, Ying Yang Twins, & Charged Up. Getting the party started for many beautiful weddings and packing dance floors for birthday parties. Texas has welcomed DJ Yung Visual with open arms, and the future looks bright.
When he’s not keeping dance floors packed or setting the tone at parties and weddings, DJ Yung Visual is a family man with four children: two boys and two girls. He prioritizes teaching his children the way of the business, remaining active, and always maintaining a love for music.
