The Art Monks are a new band from Los Angeles, CA, formed by producer and multi-instrumentalist AndyK and singer and keyboard player Steven Jackson. Both AndyK and Steven Jackson were members of the band Los Angelenos and have been friends for over a decade.
AndyK has worked with artists such as Grafezzy, Antonia Marquee, Tyler Griffin, Lakewood, MC Progress, and SWAK. He is known for his eclectic style and his ability to blend different genres together.
Steven Jackson is a soulful singer and keyboard player from New Orleans. He has a powerful voice that is reminiscent of Stevie Wonder and Marvin Gaye.
The Art Monks are inspired by a wide range of artists, including Parliament/Funkadelic, D’Angelo, and Prince. Their music is a fresh blend of R&B, soul, funk, and pop.
