Wake Up! Music, a record label with offices in both Chicago, IL, and Miami, FL, has formally announced the release date for “SuperFreakMe”, performed by Fluid Dynamic and Pepper Gomez. With a slated street date of August 12th, 2022, for all global digital retail outlets on the calendar the time is ticking nearer for their latest record to drop. After several years of friendship between Fluid Dynamic (a Scottish DJ who also goes by the name of Ross Valentine) and Pepper Gomez, owner and CEO of the Wake Up! Music Group and record label have culminated in the completion of this dance music project.
Gomez has long admired Ross Valentine’s high-energy mixes and deep-tech prowess as Fluid Dynamic. The collaborative effort continued to progress over time, resulting in nine distinctive mixes that will be available by the end of this week. Pepper fondly calls this a follow-up to “Electric Baile”, the early House Music track she sang on in the mid-1980s which not only hit the Billboard radio charts but continues to stream, gets spins from DJs, and is heard in the dance clubs. The “SuperFreakMe” track was inspired by the Rick James classic hit “Super Freak”.
The “SuperFreakMe” single is now being distributed globally by Wake Up! Music records and oneRPM Distribution to all major digital retailers and streaming platforms on the internet. A North American radio and press campaign has also been launched to promote Fluid Dynamic and Pepper Gomez’s “SuperFreakMe” to help spread the word about this new collaborative project. Mainstream Top 40, Rhythmic Radio, and Electronic Music format radio stations will be serviced with the eponymously titled single.
