Dallas-based K-Pop duo, Glittery, today announced the release of their compelling new two-track single, “Duality.” Comprising Molli and Kira, the duo continues to define their unique sound by blending Korean and American influences, while consistently exploring the full spectrum of human emotions. With “Duality,” Glittery delves into the multifaceted nature of love, featuring the A-side, “I Love Me Too,” and the B-side, “Lost In You.”
“‘Duality’ really captures the different sides of love we all experience,” states Molli, Glittery’s lead vocalist. “Sometimes it’s about self-love and confidence, and other times it’s about that overwhelming feeling of being completely immersed in someone else. We wanted to present both aspects because love is rarely just one thing.”
The A-side, “I Love Me Too,” serves as an anthem of self-affirmation and embracing individuality. It aligns with Glittery’s core message of empowerment, encouraging listeners to discover strength and beauty within themselves. Following the introspection of previous tracks like “거울아 거울아 (Mirror Mirror),” “I Love Me Too” further highlights the duo’s belief that authenticity, including embracing imperfections, is where true beauty lies.
In contrast, the B-side, “Lost In You,” offers a deeper, more introspective journey, echoing the cinematic and intense atmosphere found in their track “미로 속에서 (Lost in the Maze).” Kira, Glittery’s main rapper and lyricist, explains, “’Lost In You’ explores the sensation of being entirely consumed by another person, where their world becomes interwoven with your own. It’s an intense and powerful, yet beautiful, dimension of love.” This track underscores Glittery’s willingness to explore the complex, and sometimes raw, emotional experiences inherent in human connection, a consistent theme in their authentic storytelling.
