Troll is a heartfelt anthem about unrequited love.

“The lyrics were inspired by a recent breakup with someone I cared for, but they were playing not serious at all. I also drew inspiration from listening to my mom’s and aunts’ stories about relationships that didn’t work. Troll is relatable. I believe everyone who has been in any kind of relationship has experienced a troll.“

Mason’s passion for music sparked at an early age. He grew up in Homewood, Alabama in show choir, on the praise team and in local talent shows.

During his show choir days, mason performed at the Grand Ole Opry and won best male vocalist in several competitions. He continued his music career at Belmont University in Nashville, TN where he was trained in classical and commercial voice. Mason now lives in Brooklyn, New York, and is a recent graduate of the Roc Nation School of Music.

Since living in New York, he has performed in several off-Broadway musical productions, at local venues, and a residency in December 2023 at the MassMoCA in North Adams, Massachusetts in Step Show the Musical.

His recent credits includes a 6-month residency on HAL cruise chip Eurodam as the lead singer in the Rolling Stone Lounge.
