Reggie Jenkins Song: “It’s Your Time” Reggie is coming to you from Charlotte, NC!! His sound has been categorized by many as a fresh neosoul sound with an encouraging message. He contributes most of his musical influences from artists such as Musiq Soulchild, Bilal, Lalah Hathaway, Jill Scott, Smokie Norful and many other artists. Reggie would like to describe his music as “LIFE” music!
From the age of 7, he attended a magnet school program that specialized in music and fine arts in which Reggie focused on singing, playing the saxophone and playing the drums. He continued to play his saxophone in his local high school marching band, jazz band and orchestra until graduating from high school.
Upon graduating high school, Reggie focused more on singing and completing college. He later joined an R&B/Pop all male group called, “Infinite” which was based out of Orlando, Florida. During this season, Reggie’s skills and talents for writing and performing music were strengthened along with his group members who worked passionately to help create amazing music.
Reggie believes that we all need music that will speak to us and support whatever we may need to hear at the moment. Reggie feels that his new single titled, “It’s Your Time” will speak to the souls of many.
